Rumour Has It: Sevilla offer five-year contract to Real Madrid´s Ramos

Lyon have agreed a one-year contract extension with Steed Malbranque.

The 32-year-old retired from football in 2011 just a month after joining Lyon s fierce rivals Saint-Etienne.

However, the former Fulham and Sunderland midfielder, who started his career as a trainee with les Gones, returned to Stade de Gerland this summer.

Malbranque has quickly become an important figure in Remi Garde s young team and is enjoying the role of elder statesman.

The Serbia international has been strongly linked with a move away from Juventus after falling down the pecking order at the club following Antonio Conte s arrival before the start of the season.

Less then 24 hours after German tabloid Bild reported left-back Jansen had signed for Hamburg, Bayern Munich on Thursday revealed they had signed defender Oddo on loan from AC Milan.
