According to independent developers Martin Jonasson and Petri Purho (Jesus vs. Dinosaurs), the best way to make a satisfying game is to make it "juicy" — the "juicier" your game is, the more fun it will be to play. Now what exactly does that mean? "Juicy things are things that wobble, squirt, bounce around, and make little cute noises; it's sort of a catch-all phrase for things that make a game more satisfying to interact with," Jonasson explained during a presentation at this year's GDC Europe. "Juice is typically auditory or visual, but it doesn't really need to be…it's about maximum output for minimum input." Purho, who also created the 2009 hit

One of the most exciting new additions to Call of Duty: Warzone with the Season 3 Reloaded update is the introduction of the game’s first licensed characters, John Rambo from the Rambo series and John McClane from Die Hard. Both are coming to the game through the ’80s Action Hero DLC, which shakes things up in a big and exciting way. We recently had the chance to speak to developers at Activision about the new DLC, which arrives this week, and our conversation touched on the Nakatomi Plaza missions, whether or not Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis worked with Activision, and if more licensed characters could come in the future. We also asked if Call of Duty’s player base might even know who Rambo and McClane are, given they originated back in the ’80s.
Activision’s Natalie Pohor…
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a technically polished game, but Treyarch’s latest entry in the long-running series still has a few bugs lurking within it. One of the more disturbing glitches that Reddit user Supfrezze posted an image that doesn’t just warp the entire fabric of the game’s digital reality; it stares right back at you in a scene that’s eerily reminiscent of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
For the sake of comparison, here’s the referenced scene from The End of Evangelion.
As disturbing as that looks, it’s even harder to see in action. “I’m not epileptic and my eyes are hurting,” Supfrezze remarked. “Imagine how this is for an epileptic person, this is some serious stuff right here!”
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War isn’t the only modern game to have accident…

Diablo 4’s latest update is now live, and it takes aim at one of the main complaints players have with Season 3 so far–the Seneschal Construct and its perceived lack of power. Come from Sports betting site VPbet
Season 3 launched on January 23, introducing a new endgame activity, Vaults, and a robotic companion players can customize with various abilities and modifiers. However, the Seneschal Construct didn’t make a strong first impression, with players of Blizzard’s ARPG being quick to complain the companion didn’t feel like it brought much to the table and that its presence was barely noticeable.

Out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced a free demo for Metroid Dread–and it’s out now. The free demo is out right now through the Nintendo eShop, or you can queue up a download from Nintendo’s website.
The announcement post and related imagery have a Halloween/spooky theme, and with a name like Dread, it’s certainly fitting of the spooky season. Nintendo didn’t share any details on the limitations of the demo, but in any case, it’s a nice option if you’re curious.
GameSpot’s Metroid Dread review scored the game an 8/10. “More than anything else, Metroid Dread feels like going back to a place of comfort after a long time away,” reviewer Steven Petite said. “Though the gameplay is refined and new features have been added to the mix, Dread sticks closely to the formula of its …

HBO chief content officer Casey Bloys has commented on the future of artificial intelligence in Hollywood, saying he hopes to be retired by the time the AI revolution comes, if it ever does. Speaking to Variety, Bloys started off by reminding people that he grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a town that was home to gigantic steel companies before some went bankrupt in part because they did not adapt to new trends in business.
“So I am very, very aware of what happens when a company does not think about the future or is not aware of the future,” he said
Bloys, who has been at HBO for more than 19 years, said HBO operates differently from other media giants. He said he has never tested a pilot to decide whether or not to pick it up to series. “It’s just not something we do,” …
An arbitrator has ordered Kevin Spacey and his companies to pay nearly $31 million to MRC, the production company behind the Netflix series House of Cards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This ruling comes after a two-year legal battle behind closed doors, and finds that Spacey breached his contract by violating the company’s sexual harassment policy.
“The safety of our employees, sets, and work environments is of paramount importance to MRC and why we set out to push for accountability,” said MRC in a statement following the filing. Come from Sports betting site VPbet
The arbitrator also pointed out how Spacey’s conduct has negatively impacted MRC’s bottom line. The disgraced star, who…
